I don't ...I've been noodling on you words. I don't have an answer as to your question of 'swift action vs gradual change', but I do know that, it is very easy to slide down into a place where you do what you always do just because that's. what. you. do. There's an unconscious drift toward familiarity, being the creatures of habit that we are. There is safety and comfort in what we already know, even if what we know isn't the best for us.

The overall feel I get from your post is that you're a woman whose endured a tonne of changes recently (living abroad, becoming a wife, becoming a mom) and you're trying to do everything. You've pinned down a major key for you(as a person and individual), though, in that you know the time you take with yourself and your yoga practice is essential to continue being the best wife, mom, student you can be.

Rockinkitty
(aka Laura the cook from Ramah)TheRockinkittyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08265720460645445263noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2110780419179957934.post-92077592998750096012012-01-06T21:09:26.488-08:002012-01-06T21:09:26.488-08:00This is such a great article, Julie!!!
